About the Program
Curious about the fast and exciting world of fashion, marketing, and interior design? Through Fashion Design & Marketing, you will learn basic knowledge of color, textiles, the history of fashion, terms, trims and notions, fabric dyeing, printing, garment construction, production, patterns, cutting, and sewing fabric for the fashion industry. Fashion must have a place to be sold, and continuing this next step of knowledge, you will dive into the business of selling and successful marketing, including how to use different platforms to sell products. Interior design will be overviewed with highlights for those who may consider this industry.
We offer machine sewing throughout the year with instruction for accessory and garment sewing. Learning about fabrications includes care and wearability to determine what types of fabrics sew best into specific garments.
